Brazilian Soapstone 6½"x 3½"x 5" 07/27/2006
I wanted to create a piece showing the different reptiles and amphibians. When I came across this piece of soapstone I was able to see the salamander right away with the turtle and alligator. Later I placed the snake and frog. Sometimes we see these creatures as pests but they also have their roles to play in the survival game.
