Brazilian Soapstone 9"x 3"x 3¼" 07/30/2006
This beautiful greenish black stone was a challenge for me, I spent many hours looking at the stone and wondering what was there that I was not seeing. I once again looked at the stone and this image of a dolphin just jumped out at me. I knew then what I had to carve with this stone. The joys a dolphin has when the surfs on and he can ride the waves.
