In November, 2007 the "Living Stones Carvings" booth display won the Golden Hammer Award for best booth at the Holiday Artisans Market at the Southern Alberta Art Gallery in Lethbridge, Alberta. This was rewarding as Lise and Dwayne have worked hard to make a display which will reflect the high artistic quality, dedication and craftsmanship that goes ito each carving. |
In October, 2007 Lise entered several pieces in the Reflections of Nature competition sponsored by the Saskatchewan Wildlife Art Association. One of her pieces "Rivals Beware" won "Best in Show" for the intermediate class of compeditors. Another carving titled "Say Uncle" won second in its class and second in its division. In the functional category, "2's Better Than One" won first place in its class. |
The Chapel Gallery in North Battleford held an adjudicated exhibition in January and February of 2006. Lise was chosen as one of the artists to present a proposal to the Organization of Saskatchewan Arts Councils for a traveling exhibition. |
