Brazilian Soapstone 3"x 2"x 6" 05/17/2006
This soft brown soapstone was very easy to carve. I wanted to show the students that there are many possibilities presented in the stone. This little lady is carrying her baby on her back. This piece was made to show another form of flowing lines and texturing that enhance a beautiful piece.
