This beautiful soapstone of brown with black stripes was a big carving for me. In this piece I wanted to portray the lion laying down with the lamb. In Rev 5:5, Jesus is referred to as the Lion of the tribe of Judah. He is also our strong shepherd. We are the sheep of His pasture.
