White Alabaster 12" x 4" x 7" 03/15/06
I have found Alabaster a challenging stone to carve. This abstract piece was no exception. The stone has many fine lines and curves that reminded me so much of a comet in flight, which was the end result. The white color has a ghostly look, reminding me of heavenly bodies.
