Brazilian Soapstone 5 ½"x 4 ½"x 8 ½" 06/19/2006
I started making this cat in May and finished it in June. This was a challenging piece for me. You can see that he is watching the birds overhead and saying to himself "If I stay really still they will think I'm a statue and will land on me, then watch out". While he was being so still he became catatonic.
