Brazilian Soapstone, Deer Antler, and Glass Beads 13”x7½”X7” 05/23/2007
I carved two elephant head to head with their trunks up for good fortune. I wanted to also make this piece useful for putting candy in it. I used deer antler for the tusks and glass beads from India for the eyes. This was my first time using a mixture of materials to create a piece.
